Regardless of how far it took for the CEO and all the staff from Skills Mastery Institute (SMI) and S.M.I.L.E.S Foundation to travel all the way from Cagayan de Oro to Lumbatan, Lanao Del Sur (approximately 100km, rerouting due to impassable bridge). Not to mention the ongoing war in the neighboring municipality of Butig due to the presence and terror that the Maute Group has created. It did not stop us from us achieving our goal, to share and give back to the Community by delivering free Training and Workshop to all the brave women and youth of Lumbatan.

Our trainer, Mrs. Terezita Z. Bacarro, has eagerly shared the step by step process on how to make a soap and candle, making the trainees more curious and interested to try it themselves. It was indeed a successful and worthwhile training and workshop, leaving us a big smile in our faces and gratefulness in our hearts.
